R&D Program Manager – Affordable Nutrition, Nestlé, Switzerland
Mrs. Céline Worth is the Head of the R&D Program for Affordable Nutrition at Nestlé.
Céline is a Swedish / Swiss national, holding a MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Robotics from Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, Sweden and a MSt in Leadership in Manufacturing from the University of Cambridge, UK.
Céline has held several positions within both R&D and Operations at Nestlé during her 29 years in the company.
Céline started as a productivity engineer carrying out assignments within operations in the US, Argentina, Hong-Kong, Malaysia, France and Mexico after which she joined R&D in Orbe, Switzerland as Head of Management Services in 2002.
She was transferred to the Corporate Head Quarters in Vevey to build up the Material and Recipe Management function for Nestlé. In 2011, she was promoted Factory Manager at the Nestlé Swiss chocolate factory in Broc, followed by which she managed optimization activities within the R&D organization until the appointment of R&D Program Manager in 2018.
In this role, she is instrumental in building up relationships with academic partners in relevant Nestlé markets with special focus on the Sub-Saharan region. Currently, there are 7 Universities participating, several PhD’s are on-going and many Master students have had the opportunity to be coached by Nestlé R&D Scientists.
