Dominic Nicholas
CEO & Co-Founder of Immobazyme
Dominic Nicholas is the CEO and co-founder of the biotechnology company, Immobazyme. Immobazyme was founded with the mission of using precision fermentation technologies to create the most accessible and desirable recombinant proteins. The company is currently focused on producing low-cost growth factors for the cell-cultured meat industry with the goal of reducing their media cost 10-fold.
Dominic studied at Stellenbosch University where he completed a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Plant Biotechnology, and is now completing an MSc in Microbiology which was focused on the development of novel diagnostic devices for identifying bacterial infections.
